Coastline, Bushland and Birdlife - Owen Thompson

Exploring some of the pristine parts of the south eastern Australian coast and ranges, this exhibition of watercolour and mixed media works by Owen Thompson concentrates on the stunning boulder strewn Bay of Fires area of Tasmania, the dramatic views of the Victorian Highlands and his local bushland from NSW, including the Blue Mountains with it’s colourful birdlife.

The landscape and seascape images capture the fluid rhythms, light and texture of the big views found in these areas, whilst the series of small watercolours portray some of their best known local birds.
